Azulejos
Inspired by Los Azulejos de Veneguera in the southwest of Gran Canaria, this collection is born from a landscape shaped by time, water, and minerals. Its layers of color and natural veins—formed through geological processes—are reinterpreted in an artisanal swimwear proposal that brings this essence to the human body through macramé, a technique built knot by knot with balance and precision.
The collection follows a chromatic and structural evolution: it begins with reddish tones and compact forms that evoke volcanic origins; moves into a transition of ochres and more open structures inspired by mineral veins; and culminates in turquoise, symbolizing water, with lighter, more fluid pieces. In this way, macramé evolves from dense to ethereal, allowing the body to interact with and activate the textile.
With a strong and conscious identity, the collection connects nature, time, and craftsmanship, reinterpreting the beauty of slow transformation. Local elements such as the Canary Island tendril and banana fiber are incorporated into accessories, adding a sustainable signature that bridges tradition and contemporary design.
