FASHION SHOW ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7
Patricia Caro has presented a collection that boldly combines two apparently opposite aesthetic worlds, but which end up uniting: the colorful tropical universe and the goth world, where sobriety reigns. MR&G Design has applied the “3 R rule” (reduce, reuse and recycle) in its proposal inspired by the Madrid scene, using its own fabrics created from scraps. Volcano Blood has been inspired by a sacred island, full of energy, mysteries and marine treasures. The shiny fabrics simulate precious stones, the printed lycras and their colors evoke its flora, sunrises and sunsets. Monnur has proposed a trip to the 70s, a time of unbridled luxury. This combination of elements gives rise to an explosion of bright colors, covering the collection with great luminosity. With this Libérrimo collection, according to the designer's words, she wanted to “reclaim self-love, recognize our own worth and prioritize our well-being.” Always starting from his recognizable universe full of color, textures, volume and movement. Muchiachio wanted to look into the island's past to create his collection, inspired by the tourism of the seventies in the south of Gran Canaria. Chacho Souvenirs has presented a collection designed for any temperature, as changeable as the climate on the islands. Banana Moon has inspired the spirit of the island of Moorea: from secluded beaches, to coral reefs and waterfalls. New textures are incorporated into the fabrics, inspired by exotic and tribal prints with details of shells, starfish and flower necklaces. Arcadio Domínguez has revisited iconic garments to show the keys to the new path that the brand is taking on its 20th anniversary, with a very special edition worked in crochet. SANJUAN has opted for an exquisite “Resort Collection”, an irresistible invitation to enjoy the days and nights in the most sophisticated destinations. Aurelia Gil has presented TIEMPO, a collection that is made up of ultra-feminine silhouettes and rich fabrics such as silk, lamé and brocades, which coexist with lycra, denim and cotton. Earth tones, pinks, indigos and black dress garments and accessories made in a 100% handmade way. TIEMPO also includes a capsule collection in collaboration with designer Juanjo Oliva. Cala 1789, the ready-to-wear brand inspired by the Riviera, is reinterpreted with style and originality. For a perfect summer look, we find plain, colorful, striped swimsuits, with embroidery or prints, and with matching t-shirts or shirts. The brand's iconic product has not been missing: espadrilles. Elena Morales has focused on conceiving fashion from a conscious, ethical and respectful approach to the environment, workers and consumers. The white, cream, blue, brown and orange tones will make your ready-to-wear and swimwear presentation harmonize with a line of elongated, fluid and fresh silhouettes, with a nineties air, highlighting the minimal dresses, the delicate garments, the tailoring, back necklines and asymmetrical cuts. On the catwalk fashion references such as Guiomar Alfaro, Lorena Durán or Meri Lozano, among other names.
