Fátima Rodríguez was inspired by a summer pool party that inspires freedom. BconB has filled the catwalk with creativity for the youngest, betting on imagination. Kokú Kids has taken references from the imaginary of the Bauhaus school. Geometric prints were the protagonists in Dolores Cortés' designs. Cosas de Mon has been inspired by nature and its vibrant colours. Finally, LadyBugs' Cris, presented a collection where colour and luminosity were the protagonists.
Afternoon fashion shows
The consolidated firms were the protagonists of this Saturday's fashion shows. The afternoon began with the Dolores Cortés fashion show, which gave way to the double fashion shows by Como Un Pez en el Agua and Énfasis - Énfasis Black. The day continued with the parade of All Sisters and the double parade of Arcadio Domínguez and Nuria González, followed by the individual parade of All That She Loves. Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada was in charge of bringing the third day of fashion shows to a close, followed by the presentation of the Award for the Best Collection 2020, which went to Aurelia Gil and Palmas, and the presentation of the Carlsberg Award for the Best Sustainable Collection 2020, which went to All That She Loves. The model Helen Lindes acted as master of ceremonies during the presentation of these awards.
Dolores Cortés was in charge of opening the third day of Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida. In her collection, full of clean and precise silhouettes, we have seen elegant leathers and sophisticated patterns that give rise to pieces full of personality. Sailor stripes, a trend par excellence, have been revisited by the firm. The collection is nourished by stripes that vary in size and colour and which, together with other visual elements, create optical effects that are flattering to the female silhouette. Floral elements are also present. As for the colour palette, the collection covers a wide spectrum of colours that give each design a genuine character. The collection is accompanied by monochromatic pieces worked with textured fabrics.
This was followed by the double fashion show by Como Un Pez en el Agua and Énfasis - Énfasis Black. The first was inspired by glam: a collection based on fabrics such as poplin with bamboo, tulle with piqué, or voile with plumetti. "Glam Together" is a lively and optimistic collection, which serves as a union of eras and fashions. The decades of the 60's, 70's and 80's are the inspiration for bikinis and swimming costumes. On the one hand, the ruffles stand out, sculpting the feminine forms; and on the other hand, the pieces in elastic cotton that adhere to the silhouette like a second skin. Énfasis has presented Mediterranean Landscape, a collection of pictorial inspiration, based on the Mediterranean landscape. The collection is dominated by colours with a seafaring tendency such as red, different shades of blue, white and details in yellow. The handmade prints stand out, such as Mediterranean landscapes and Toile de Jouy. All in pique and ottoman textures. In Énfasis Black the minimal garment is the starting point, highlighting the colour-block, where the black and white binomial predominates, accompanied by mustard touches.
The afternoon gave way to the All Sisters fashion show, in which sustainable values and a rich palette of colours stand out. The firm presented a collection dominated by eco-friendly fabrics, created from recycled fishing nets, which give rise to seamless designs that are friendly to the different feminine silhouettes. The Mediterranean inspiration, key for the firm, is very present in its "retro-romantic" bet.
The day continued with the double fashion show of the Canary Islands firms Arcadio Domínguez and Nuria González. The former has opted for a collection of pieces in handmade crochet and lycra. Romantic, warm and very feminine, these garments are combined with other relaxed and more streetwear-like garments, such as T-shirts and sweatshirts; or more sophisticated pieces, such as a blazer or a cocktail dress. Nuria González, on the other hand, has taken inspiration from Lady Tiger: a black woman, boxer and feminist, who fought until she got her professional boxing license in the United States. An icon of women's struggle for equal rights. Lady Tiger 2021 is a collection full of sparkle.
All That She Loves has presented a collection born from the most genuine craftsmanship, handmade and the process that identifies ATSL: garment dyeing. The looks that ATSL proposes are the fusion of the different product lines among them, bikinis with plush, mallots with shorts, bikinis under and over accessories, and key pieces, such as jumpsuits as unique looks.
Nearing the end of the day, it was the turn of Palmas, where the Glam style flooded the catwalk, transporting the public to a golden age: the 70's and 80's. "80's Glam" was born from the dance culture, and revisits past trends that return adapted to the new times.

Miss Bikini Luxe has unveiled a collection where tribal, natural and geometric influences blend harmoniously with patchwork.
Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, always faithful to the Canarian catwalk, was in charge of putting the finishing touch to the day's fashion shows. The firm has opted for fantasy, in a collection that transports the public to a universe in which the beach, the sun and colour are the protagonists. The seafaring line inspires sky and sea, which are joined by the designer's characteristic applied flowers. There is no shortage of patchwork, impossible bows and the iconic balloon swimming costume. Sustainability has prevailed in the creation of the collection.
