The most influential hairdressers of the world meet at Live Fashion Hair , an event that arrives to Gran Canaria by the hand of Moda Cálida

The most influential hairdressers of the world meet at Live Fashion Hair, an event of hairstyle trends that is organized by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria along with The Code Team, in which for the first time there will be fuse the Gran Canaria Moda Cálida designers with the international hair artists.



Councillor of Industry and Commerce Minerva Alonso highlighted that Joel Torres from Miami, Chiala Marvici from New York, and Omar Antonio from San Francisco, besides Javier Romero coming from Mexico, would combine their hairstyles with the creations of Aday Batista, Lucas Balboa and Como la Trucha al trucho with the aim of creating a unique event in the Island combining fashion and hairdressing.


In addition, five of the most recognised hairdressers of the world, who have won the TCT Awards, will give during the event a demonstration to present their next year new collection and they will receive the distinctions. They are the Russian Pavel Okhapkin, the British John Spanton, the French Eric Maurice, the Australian Kobi Bokshish, and the Spanish David Siero.


It is the first time that Gran Canaria embraces this initiative that brings together 3 November at the Edificio Miller professionals from the United States, Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Iran, Morocco, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, and Spain, among hairdressers from all the Islands. Furthermore, it will beat the international attendance record, where 200 of the 400 hairdressers are not from the Island.


Live Fashion Hair along with Gran Canaria Moda Cálida aims for projecting internationally the Island by also having European and American media. Also, Charo Izquierdo, director of Madrid Fashion Week, has confirmed her assistance.


The event has the institutional support of the Cabildo, and also of the sponsor and collaborative brands such as Project Room, Revista Peluquerías, The ShowRoom Mag, Pietranera, Cicar, Pop House, Beauty Market, and Hunter Haus Studio.
