The brand Vevas by Gran Canaria Moda Cálida offers its colourful designs at a new selling point in the area of Triana

2018-03-23

The brand Vevas, member of the Gran Canaria Moda Cálida program, opened last night a new selling point at the Be Yellow store, that have a new location in the area of Triana to sell from now on its colourful swimwear designs for men and women by the young Verónica Aparicio's collection.

The Industry and Commerce Councillor, Minerva Alonso, underlined that it is very important for the Cabildo of Gran Canaria that new businesses, new talents like Vevas that have become a member of Moda Cálida in the last two years and a half, materialize selling points in the island because this means they can set out a journey to consolidate themselves inside the program.

Alonso claimed that the opening is a token of congratulation and to be proud of the recent companies in the labour market that are already opening paths and have their own establishment where we can buy their swimsuits and bikinis, as well as beachwear, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The young 28-year-old designer used the opening of the store in the new location to offer a showroom with her creations to those clients who wanted to share this new and exciting adventure with her.

Be Yellow, in Cano Street, 22, offers up to seven different bikini models from the 2018 spring-summer collection  that Vevas put on the market under the name 'A tiu' inspired in an idyllic island of the South Pacific with that name in the Cook islands, also called 'Tierra de aves' (Birds' Land).

And those birds are a sign of the brand's designs for this season, as a symbol of courage and freedom, apart from a colour explosion in its funny designs with fruits and animals illustrations that contrast with the black background.

In the second collection that Vevas launched at the 2017 Swimwear Fashion Week, which is already on sale, she started to sell creations to the men customers for the first time also with daring designs.

Minerva Alonso underlined the determination and effort of Verónica Aparicio which finally bore fruits, apart from the support actions for business training for new talents that offers the Moda Cálida school.
