From Gran Canaria Moda Cálida, we continue placing nameplates in different programme designers stores in order to encourage the promotion and greater visibility of the brands and of fashion made in Gran Canaria.
A new namplate has been placed in the official store of Nuria González, designer, located in Cebrián street nº 27 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It will help citizens to know the store's location in order to encourage the commercialization of fashion made in Gran Canaria.
Nuria González is one of the pioneers in the fashion area of design and swimwear dressmaking made in the islands. Throughout her wide professional career, the designer has been creating her own different style. Her main source of inspiration is the nature's observation (the native flora and fauna), and the urban landscape and ocean's connection, making of them the motif of her lycra and tulle designs.
The famous works of Canarian painters are another designer's source of inspiration. The printing of the works and the staging of the designs are sublime. Her last collection was inspired by Néstor Martín Fernández de la Torre, painter, (well known simply as Néstor).
